Shouting someone down for an opinion is one thing. Taking someone to task for an insulting, denigrating and downright nasty criticism is something totally different. Don't have the fortitude to take a stand one way or the other, especially given that it's your RW brothers being the crude ones? I understand. I believe goose/gander is your way of saying "they did it first." Have some courage to take a stand one way or the other on the nature of the discourse. Nice tap dance!

My stand is that the cartoon you find so objectionable is (probably legally, though I'm not a lawyer) a form of expression protected by Amendment 1 to the Constitution.

I would guess that you chuckled when you saw the bumper sticker about some village in Texas losing its idiot, or the unflattering cartoons of GWB morphing to to Alfred E. Newman, but that's admittedly only a guess - I don't presume to know.
