Allegations of Appraiser racism

It never stops.

I guess we are giving Asians and Indians (from India) a free pass.....never hear about those groups being targeted.
Sorry, I missed this: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/education/supreme-court-to-hear-challenge-to-race-in-college-admissions
The court said it will take up lawsuits claiming that Harvard University, a private institution, and the University of North Carolina, a state school, discriminate against Asian American applicants.

Personal responsibility?

From The Appraiser Blog (above):

The conclusion from the 84-page report: "An appraiser has the unique power to determine the value of a home, which for most Americans, is their single most important financial asset and holds the key to wealth, stability, and opportunity for their family and generations to come."

So guys, after you've inspected the house and you've been given enough information about the property involving people with 'equity' issues. That's when you take it on yourself to correct the problem and make things better. Your job is to help some out because it is, as you know, the single most important financial asset that holds wealth and opportunity for that family. Nudge those numbers to make it right.

But wait there's more:

....."16 local Assessors across the US have requested to FHFA that the GSE’s UAD property rating data be provided to Assessors, with the belief that UAD will help them be more accurate in their local tax assessments."

So don't go and tell the HO that the information isn't be sent to the Assessor. Yeah FHFA and GSE's get all the private information from that refi, probably the pictures too. Big Government on the March.

--I happened to catch the new FHFA director get asked softball questions by the Senate committee. "So after 13-years how are you coming in getting the GSE's out of the their conservatorship?" "We'll we are still looking for some direction from Congress." "So what isn't clear about how you were to take them out of conservatorship?" "We are still looking for direction from Congress."
