One last thing. Most of the idiots in this state don’t even know about the statute. These are the same ones who check the market as “stable” while prices are increasing 30 percent annually. And we wonder why the industry is in the state it’s in. Meanwhile, the GSEs kept accepting all the work to keep their AMC partners happy—compliance, credibility, and market reality be damned. LOL
 
Nobody's sueing anyone. If Florida State wants to go after their own appraisers then fine. My guess is they aren't going to be the hybrid police. The big boy's already figured out what they can and can't do in Florida.

Of course, that's just part of what comes with living in a lawless society.

Some of you are living in fantasy land. There’s so much corruption in this profession. It’s everywhere you look. Seems there’s something new every week coming out. People are finally wising up and bringing **** out into the light.

But you just can’t sit here and say everything is normal and as it should be with this profession.

Well, in one case FNMA filed, they 'think' the appraiser violated USPAP because the site value was different between two reports in a land development... Well, gee I suppose they didn't consider that might be because one lot was less than an acre and the other was 3 lots together?

On a hybrid ? I think your talking about another issue.
 
I'll tell you something else, too: If DW had NOT been at Freddie it's almost a certainty that the "Appraisers-R-Racists" allegations would have turned out even worse for appraisers. Instead of accusing him of being anti-appraiser you should be showing some gratitude for his service.
