AMC free bidding

I think we are used to being managed so it's high time we put on our big kid pants and be accountable. Besides our peers will be seeing it.

The reviewers are appraisers and they bid on those as well and 6% because reviews are appraisals.
So a client, e.g., lender, lawyer, CPA, etc., who orders an appraisal pays the appraiser his or her agreed-upon fee as well as 6% for the internal review! If so, 6% of what? Is client involvement based on two Engagements? is the appraisal report and the review report provided to the client? What is the typical %age savings to a client? [just curious although it should be expected that you as the program administrator do so for a profit regardless of the egalitarian objectives? No need responding I'm just curious and also appreciate your endeavors.

Who vets the reviewers?
At first I presumed that this was just a random comment, but the more I think about it, the more n more the review process is as critical as the appraisal.

I'm still on a tirade about the Appraisal Independence tenet that precludes most AMC's from selecting an appraiser who the lending client has requested. How is that protocol addressed in your workflow???

There is no AMC, its a platform that takes the UAD 3.6 form. The reviews are appraisals. Its 6% of the fee. Transparency. No keeping your fee for a month. No collection problems. Its going to cost something to run the site. It is just AMC free and includes attorneys or agents. Its a bidding platform.

Does a "typical" %-age of a "typical" client fee get swooped by an AMC? Once the system gains credibility, a big volume client could save $$$$$. Bottom line will client have wherewithal to select appraiser or does system auto assign based on fee quote? Can the appraiser's quote include narrative?

So how does one communicate with the client if necessary
