Xome is AMC. Lender X is a portal. Xome owns Lender X.
Xome is not an AMC.

I think Xome does have a AMC as one of their business lines. But I don't know for sure.

All I know is one of my clients uses Lender X.

That is correct, but you stated Xome is an AMC, they are not an AMC.

All I know is one of my clients uses Lender X and my average fee from them is like $1,600 with a range of $1,200 to $2,000.

Your clients are the ones that are giving you the great fees, Lender X is just the portal you client is using to order and communicate through out the process.

Yes

The true test to determine an AMC from a direct lender......Add an invoice......if they freak out: AMC. If they’re cool with it: direct lender :ROFLMAO:

"Lender X" ... just got on their platform last week through a new direct lender client ... looks like the software is similar to Mercury ... pretty easy to work with ... someone was an "X-FIles" fan .... ;)

Xome IS an AMC (among other things). LenderX is an order management portal, much like Mercury or AppraisalScope. Xome does, however, own LenderX as part of their real estate operations. They also have their fingers in a lot more settlement services.
