Yep! Thanks! You might want to edit that - 1/10th of a foot, not inch

You take exterior measurements if you can get them; otherwise, get the best estimate of wall thickness, add that to the interior measurements and make a note of the fact that you couldn't get direct exterior measurements. Is this Kosher? "Measurements were taken from the estimated exterior face of the basement walls."
I measured the interior walls of the basement finished area, then added the estimated half a foot to reach the exterior face of the basement walls.
Not a cop out. Not all properties are typical and using ANSI would produce a less credible and very wacked out SCAWhat a cop out using GXX001.
ANSI is forcing appraisers to go back using tape measure for most accurate measurement to the tenth of a foot.
1/10th of an inch is next month's revision. You might want to edit that - 1/10th of a foot, not inch
Interpretation. Take a precise figure then add an unknown guesstimate figure that you pull out your ***. I've not seen many basement walls that were not at least the thickness of a concrete block....here most are 8"...so are poured walls. Anything over a few feet tall are more difficult to use the vibrating tool (aka donkey ****) they settle concrete into forms with. But that doesn't take into account the interior may have sheathing, paint, sealer, etc. and exterior may have a plastic sheathing as well.get the best estimate of wall thickness
Actually, for most basement homes I was able to measure the wall thickness at one of the entry points. No guesstimate requiredInterpretation.
