ANSI sketch requirements

Measuring to the tenth of a foot would be nothing new for me. That is how I was trained and how I did it for over 25 years, well before the ANSI standard was even created. We used fiberglass tapes “back in the day” and we used tenths rather than inches because it made the math easier, - that was prior to the introduction of sketching software and auto calculated GLA

You can just as easily use 1/100 of a foot, or about 1/8 of an inch. The engineering tapes have that - as well as the Disto and most CAD software. -- And when you plug that into the CAD (e.g. Chief Architect Home Designer Pro) that makes the walls match-up better. Also wall thickness is typically to the 1/8th of an inch - that has a ripple effect throughout the CAD drawing if you accurately measure and sketch all interior areas.

Must have missed that part in the selling guide prior to ANSI being required. Do you have a copy I can peruse?

you are gonna troll me and i got to do your leg work...the little liberals are delusional :rof: :rof: :rof:
