Anyone else dead slow the last two weeks?

West LA is really expensive but everywhere else is just normal expensive.
It's really weird when i was doing drive byes in neighborhoods where you don't walk the dog at night, and it's miles of 1950 built 1,200 Sq.Ft. stucco boxes selling for a million plus. But want crazy NYC that's another place i just don't get.

I would like to visit one day when my budget allows. Can I bring a hippy van to visit? LOL
You're hippy van parked on street may be called to police if you overstay. Some homeless lives in RVs.
I would like to visit Tennessee especially Nashville one day. I heard it's like Las Vegas except less sin.
A person with plenty of money could visit CA a month and not see all the natural wonders in CA.
Haven't been to Disneyland for few years. Forgot it cost over $200 a day to visit. I remembered it cost $50 when my daughter was a toddler.

Million dollar is considered low end in Silicon Valley.
My tenant moved to a 900 sf fixer upper rancher for $900,00. Major fixer needing new roof, new drywall, new floors, etc.

There are plenty of neighborhoods in LA where 50's stucco boxes start at less than $1 million. Especially the ones where you don't walk the dog at night.

Extremely slow the last three weeks unless you are willing to work complex overinflated orders for half the market rate. Unfortunately, a good chunk of my business was Anow and they appear to either be extremely slow or have reset how they assign orders with the move to dwelling blocks.
Yep. I. Extremely busy with mostly appraisals that have value issues.

I'm having a hard time adjusting my schedule. I use to get a mixture of easy ones and complex ones to average everything out. Now, it's taking me twice as long to do an appraisal because I know it's a value issue and the knifes will be out to destroy me.

I spoke with a chief appraiser at a large regional bank. They are having to adjust their scoring system due to so many reports being sent back for rejections or for additional data, etc.

The GSES have been saying this for over 5 years now. Easy waiver, waiver pcr, most will be hybrids and the rest for complex 1004s.

I just wonder how many hybrids are we losing to the national big res firms and AMCs that have staff.

My best client is even outsourcing the hybrids to two AMCs (eventhough they do not use an AMC for 1004s)??

So I'm waiting for the gses to break down the usage oh hybrids.....

That being said, mortgage apps have been down for the past two weeks, so that bumb that we saw was from several weeks ago.

It's literally only west LA that starts at more than $1 million. West of La Cienga Blvd.

Yeah and I can also buy cheaper in Gary Indiana....lol

If I had to live over there I would probably be somewhere in OC.

You do realize how large and far the City of Los Angeles is land wise ? You can go from their in almost any direction for 15 or 20 miles and further in some places.
