Anyone else dead slow the last two weeks?

I may ask lender to send me a copy of condo association financial statements. I am leaning that way. Let me sleep on it.

I know who is responsible for SOW.

The happiest folk's ive known live in small house's close to what they do for a living and have no room to collect junk or toys. If your raised on land and know the ropes that's great but these flat lander's out here don't have the skills to live on land.
No or short commute is the real secret to happiness. It frees up time for family, hobbies, health.

And 100% on stuff. Larger spaces naturally accumulate more "stuff". Stuff stresses me and my bank account out.

I was busy for about 7 weeks , and then it dropped off to nothing. As in , no orders in two weeks, a record lull. Wonder if anyone else is experiencing it- could be a fluke -
I’m in the Florida Keys and have been since 1990. My residential business is the slowest it has ever been. Aside from the daily offers from the lousy AMC’s, we are getting very little work. The best thing I have found is promoting my web site.
Good Luck. Hang in there, hopefully this slow time will get rid of some of the unethical AMC’s.

The economy has people nervous with the tariffs and Doge cutting jobs. When people get nervous, they don't want to buy, sell, refinance, etc. I don't know who your clients are but you should ask them. I don't work 70 hours like I used to. I am comfortable with my workload.
If you were working 70 hours a week, I hope you saved a lot of money. If not then you were working for everyone else in the chain. Appraisers often forget the requirements to entry and their own operating expenses. My OE are 33% so when the AMC try’s to tell me I can sit at my desk and make $50 an hour like it’s a great thing. I have 6 years of school then 30 years beyond. The lousy $50 is less than $35 an hour, I bill over $100 an hour and that is not a good income commensurate with my education and experience.

When I was doing all commerical, I would bill similar but sometimes the hours turned into days. LOL I have no desire to work that many hours anymore.

Sometimes when you get in a job, the estimated hours goes up due to complex reasons. If you are billing by the hour, that it is a different ballgame.

You've never been outside of Greater Boston in the past 30 years have you? Terrified some redneck might live next door? I will take the crime rate of NW AR over anywhere in MA thankee.
Are rednecks worse than white trash, or is just a more specific people location term you don't want living next door to you. Still better than the gang bangers & foreign gangs.

The most dangerous is the self hating white liberals. They have the government do their dirty work.

"Are rednecks worse than white trash..."

White Trash = Ghetto....

Here's a classic must-read about how the redneck and ghetto cultures have a shared history:

tl;dr: it's based on low class Irish and other British in between cultures. Fascinating read that explains a lot.

How are you promoting your site? I've got a fancy SEO analysis tool that I use for my own stuff if you'd like me to run it through an audit (no charge, I've got a ton of free credits). Also, there's worse places to live than the Keys.
