Greg:
Thanks for the compliments and the other feedback. Our next release is built for our Assessor customers, but it contains some fixes, tweaks and additional features as well that will be available in the Fee Appraiser build. I expect we will release another Fee Appraiser build very shortly (likely within a day?) after the Assessor build goes out, so you might want to check our site sometime at the end of this week or early next week. When it is ready, I'll make a post in the Apex section here and give a short list/description of what is fixed, tweaked and added. More complete info will, of course, be in the "ReadMe.txt" file and on our web site.
One thing we'll be attempting to accomplish with the Assessor release is the flag which lets us turn on Auto-Update notifications again. Right now, the Auto-update notification is turned off on our servers because only the Fee Appraiser version is out and we didn't want Assessors running v4.0 to get a notice that a new build is out when it wouldn't work for their version. Similarly, we don't want to notify the Fee Appraisers that a new Assessor build is out when they can't use that version, either. With this next release, we should be able to automatically notify users when an update is out that pertains to their particular version. That probably means Fee Appraisers will not have this capability until the next version from them is out and has been installed. Sorry this got so wordy and I hope my meaning is clear. We believe this is a good thing for users - to let them know when a free update is out...
I think the description of your cursor location issue is clear enough for me to test on a Mac through Parallels. I have noticed something similar using programs like Jing for video recording. I believe the problem is rooted in "screen coordinates" vs. "world coordinates" for local vs. remote systems. Sorry to get geeky, LOL. Anyway, I'll take a look at it and see what I can do about this. Although you don't seem to have an immediate need, I'd still like to make it work right in your environment...
If you have any suggestions or feature requests, let me know.
