APEX7 issues

Relying upon the ACI sketch program rather than the Apex program being critisized above. HOWEVER, the basic progrm corrupts iteelf more often than not. But that and any ****ing extraordinary activity, e.g., sketch too complex, fingers typing keys too fast, refusing to accept a proposed location, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.,etc., etc., etc., etc. eetc., etc, et****ingc causes the program to shut itself down wihout saving any recent changes regardles of the save-as settings, a built-in appraisal dictionary populated with 90% of words NEVER EVER ONCE applied in an appraisal throughout the entire history of the appraisal industry, a self-help chat function that requires hundreds of idenifieers before advising the user that the chat function is closed for the day. ETC, ETC, ETC, ETC, ETC, ETC., although otherwise it's a wonderful software program!

It has been a few years. One of almode updates quit using apex and alamode/total devloped there own sketch software that is included in the total software. I was not real happy but I converted to the "total sketch" program and it is similar to apex but I was used to apex.

I don't remember the version of apex I had either. It definitely wasn't the latest version of apex.

Total technical support can check it out for you.

Total used apex originally. They could have bought apex, but didn't. Still using v6, to me easier than total drawing program.

I am sure it had something to do with a fee or something that alamode was paying apex to include apex in their software. So they just developed their own sketch software (total sketch) and dropped apex.

"total sketch" is included with the software like apex was at one time.

They are not that different. I have gotten used to "total sketch".

In the OP's situation, I am sure if they are subscriber to total software, the technicians with Total can tell them how to fix it.

With them having Apex v7, Total technicians will know how to fix it.

They would probably take a text today. I only have tech support monday thru friday with Total. But many people have 24/7 phone/text support with Total.

I think my tech support is like 8 or hours a day monday thru Friday. It may be longer. I haven't had to call in a while.

I'm surprised Apex has survived for this long.
Apex is a superior product than Total Sketch and should have folded and be part of Alamode.

I like Apex better but they are pretty similar. I am surprised Apex has made it. Many engineers or other users must use Apex.
