Fee offered by LSI here in Florida

The most recent fee today 20 minutes ago was $110.00 for a 2055 drive by. Now that is one low fee... OF COURSE I LAUGHED, QUOTING MY NORMAL FEE AND THEN THEY LAUGHED BACK... PROCEEDING TO CANCEL.

Most recent post without realizing this thread was started: http://appraisersforum.com/showthread.php?t=144770

What is there to do other than accept or refuse the fee?
Where is the collective effort to change things?

Let us (appraisers) hope that the many letters, phone calls and emails forwarded to Senators and local Congressman will help. (One day). Thanks Pam for your many years of dedication and efforts regarding this and the AMC's !!

Again how many have written to ALL Candidates regarless of which party. & told them it is NOT the regulations, or lack of regulations that is leading usd to a depression it is the LACK of ENFORCEMENT of the Rules, laws, regulations already in place!!

Takes less than 1 hour to Email ALL the candidates.

Pardon my newness to AF, but here I go....Here in LA, appraising has become a joke. 6,500 appraisers in this 3-county area and enough work for 1,000. Management companies are ruling the roost and getting $150 to $175 for appraisals up to 1 million, but chargng the borrowers $450. REO companies are getting $200 to $250, even for 2-4's. WAMU is striking out appraisers on a daily basis. I will enjoy the party more when it over!

I charge $12,000,000 for a full inspection.....all I need is one taker!woohoowoohoo

I should also emphasize that volume fees means volume work. If the client agrees to fees at volume, they must supply the volume. If not, deal's off. Get it in writing.
