They seem to be like Elle Mae or Encompass, it will all depend if the
the Primary Lender will accept the procedure. This sort of arrangement
lets a MB pick the appraiser like in the good old days. And this is just a
guess, but I'm thinking the MB staff does the UW/guideline stuff. Elle Mae
has a tie in with data and title products. How much do these guy charge?

It's my understanding that the HVCC states no appraisal will be accepted from a mortgage broker - it has to be ordered by the lender. Did I read that right?

No law, agreement, or appraiser can stand between a lender or MB
and the money they get at closing.

Appraiser Firewall is NOT Dart. Dart USES the Appraisers Firewall.

I dealt with Dart many years ago. Never bothered to take a 2nd order. Their work was CRAP and they never offered anything close.

I have used it and have 2 clients utlizing it. They seem on the up and up and their fees are resonable

I have looked into Appraisers Firewall. I set up a trial lender account and a trial appraiser's accout. Customer Service was very helpful. Appraisers pay a flat rate of 3% of the invoices amount. It never changes. They are simply the handshake between us and the lenders and they are HVCC compliant. I am trying to talk all my clients into using them.
