Appraisal Institute Accused of Covering Up Sexual Harassment and Test Flaws

Is it possible that Class Valuation that seems to buying up every AMC they can get their hands on, then onto a hedge fund, private equity, etc., and then sells for big money, similar to the FNC suit? Would a government investigation put a monkey wrench in that scenario if that were the case?

No the government doesn't care it's too small in the world of finance.

This is stuff we all knew what’s going on, but damn does it look bad when it all comes out. I saw it personally sitting in state board meetings with several Reeva spokesman who were flown in from all over the country to strong arm and intimidate Regulators. Reeva is a big problem with this profession. They really need to be put in their place. And to think appraisal Institute scumbag officers give a **** about their endorsements is very troubling.

Cindy was the first organizational officer or spokesmen in this profession that I thought deserved any respect. And she barely made it a year. The rest of them deserve to be treated as enemies.

It would seem to me, the Appraisal Institute is buried in a very deep septic system with all of this.

It's sad that so much corruption exists in an organization that was supposed to be looking out for us.

I imagine there will be an exodus of people, organizations, and trade groups who will want to distance themselves from the AI brand in the short term.

It's always been a good old boy's club and today it's just another relic of that generation who joined the service clubs.

When's the last time you met a Moose or knight of Columbus, not too many around under the age of 65.

So. It’s clear now. REVAA and the AMCs have been in bed with AI for years… this explains why AI has never done anything about fees, invoices, and so much more. It’s why they consistently avoided these topics. It’s time for all AMCs under REVAA, REVVA themselves and the AI to be fully investigated.

I agree with @glenn walker. This just like the NAR lawsuit puts a black eye on the appraiser profession since most will think this organization represents all appraisers which we know they don’t.

Time for a major change and housecleaning.
