I thought the $150 plus taken by the AMC was the issue- Is it now a Portal fee of $16 bucks

Yea I don't get it. I have asked clients to add in the portal fee to my fee and they always have.

What do politicians have to do with Appraisal Port, Mercury Network or any company charging more to upload an appraisal report, prices for everything appraisal related have been going upward for YEARS regardless of any politician or who is in office.

Oh - believe me - it's not a Dem/Rep thing. They're all corrupt. Inflation is a tax on the citizen.

Excessive inflation is the most unfair and regressive tax there is. It's hits the poor the hardest. Only the govt comes out ahead.

I have customers that use one portal and the fee is $21. I just add it. Mercury has the same charge as appraisalport. I have one client that charges $41! I told them that from here on I’m going to up my fees accordingly. I also have one that charges nearly $30. But they pay more than anyone else, so I just kind of eat it.
