Has anyone heard of this company? I had a call from them today and was solicited to sign up. I called some other appraiser friends and they have not heard anything about them or have just signed up. Does anyone receive consistent work from them? Thanks

Sorry Marty but have not heard of them. However, I just recieved one from Quantrix. Have you or anybody else heard of them? These Companies seem to be comming out of the wall from everywhere recently.

It is my understanding that Quantrix is a decent AMC.

I receive Chase Bank appraisal orders from Quantrix. It is my understanding Chase owns them. I have not heard of Appraisers Advantage

I was contacted by them yesterday.. Seems they want $299.00 a month to get on thier web based list of appraisers. Get to keep your own fees, C.O.D. work.... I will give it a try but if anyone has any xp with them I would also like to hear about it.

Quantrix is owned by First American and Chase. I can't tell if they are a good AMC or not since they don't pay reasonable fees in my area.

Derfherder,

Are you talking about Appraiser Advantage? $299 a month? They called me today and quoted $349 for a year...with mention of 2 to 4 monthly assignments.

I'd like to hear from someone who's been with them for a while.

I received a call from them today. They appear to be a low quality appraiser directory.

Quantrix offers to pay fees from the 1987 era here in the Boston area. They either fired me or stopped using me after I complain about the low fees. Oh well, I just tell everyone about Chase business decisions to make money on appraisal fees as they cannot make money on mortgages.

This sounds like a scam.

Oh well, a fool and his money are soon parted.
