Artificial Intelligence

So I dumped ChatGPT. It does not work for my use case. I switched to CoPilot which has been useful in writing programs in Excel and checking my work in Word. It is saving me time. It is not good at pulling information from websites, but it is good at rewriting paragraphs. I've asked it to rewrite something I wrote and make it "more professional" sounding. I would recommend it. It's tough to argue that it's making me more money, but I will say that I've received complements on my responses so it's keeping my clients happy and doesn't cost an unreasonable amount in my opinion. If you do a lot of litigation work, I would recommend it.
It 's pretty much as I thought - AI can be used in its present form to write better, to convey what we want to say, and for some limited research.

It can not do an appraisal or do analysis, etc - people way overestimate what it can do, - it will take years before it gets to that stage and would need to be custom-tailored, "trained" as they call it, to perform a specific task within a specific profession.

It is a lot more limited than the tech titans like to let on. My car dealership offers an AI assisted telephone line now. All it does is offer rote choices and connections . When I asked it a question or asked to be connected to a live person it was incapable of delivering. A total waste of time. I hung up on it in frustration.

AI is a great tool and what I would consider a force multiplier. It also has a huge blind spot. Appraisers are not going to be replaced at present because what they do is too complicated. AI will not work for AMC fees, it's too expensive currently.

I used the big ones and settled on Grok due to its uncensored approach on just about anything. Also good for answer specific questions on Hinge lol (where is this pic taken etc) Copilot and CGPT can be enraging sometimes even though my questions aren't controversial. Grok4/SuperGrok is due any day which is being hyped hard I'm looking forward to it.

Nice to see you'all using AI I use AI-Copilot free version, I retired so I do;t do anything complex like your doingMy version is Free. here is what I found

Yes, Microsoft Copilot has paid versions, in addition to its free version.
The main paid versions are:
  • Copilot Pro: This is a subscription aimed at individuals and power users, costing $20 per user per month. It offers features beyond the free version, including:
    • Priority access to advanced AI models: This ensures access to the latest AI models like GPT-4 Turbo, even during peak times.
    • Integration with Microsoft 365 apps: It allows using Copilot within applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (for those with a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription).
    • Enhanced AI image creation: Includes more "boosts" for creating AI images using Image Creator from Designer.
  • Copilot for Microsoft 365: This version is designed for businesses and is priced at $30 per user per month. It offers enterprise-grade features and integrates with the entire Microsoft 365 suite, including features like Business Chat and Copilot

So there isno doubt rhat AI will continue to make more nd amore advances.

Here is a temporary down-side. AI needs and uses large amounts of energy. This will get worse, So forget about all that green energy stuff, It won't meet the demand. The only reliable source is Nuclear Duke Energy in my area charlotte is building more Nuclear at a very rapid pace, I think we now have 9 nine reactors and they are adding more

Natural gas energy for projects like that is a viable option in this country as well.

As you well know, Amarillo is the Saudi Arabia of wind power resources as well. However, I hope we don't just take the easy way out and quit focusing on advanced nuclear power. That is the long-term answer.
