What does that have to do with borrowers? How many bankers have had a DUI?

And what are the parameters if someone does have a DUI on their record? It's not a scarlett letter. If an appraiser had a DUI in 1989 should he not be able to work as an appraiser? What about 2009?

We went from a pedophile taking photos of kids rooms and posting them online to some guy who got caught leaving happy hour on a Friday night a decade ago after having one too many beers.

DUIs have appraisers all in a panic. I have yet to see any clients who care. CA however does have specific policy on the matter.

No Marion I have not continuously owned and run Clearbox since 2006. There were 3 different companies, all of the same name. The first two were dissolved. It is all a matter of public record. Not sure why this is interesting to you.

REALLY???

THEN WHERE DID THE National Arbitration Forum come up with this?

Joan N. Trice c/o Clearbox, LLC v. David Dill

Claim Number: FA1101001369280

Complainant submitted a Complaint to the National Arbitration Forum electronically on January 24, 2011; the National Arbitration Forum received payment on January 24, 2011.

PARTIES' CONTENTIONS

A. Complainant

By the complaint, the Complainant contends that:

· The disputed domain name <clearbox.com> is identical to and confusingly similar to the CLEARBOX Mark in which Complainant has rights.

· It founded the company Clearbox LLC in November 2006.

· it first began using the CLEARBOX trademark in November 2006, in connection with the identified services, and has been using the CLEARBOX mark continuously and extensively since this date.

· since November 2006, the Complainant has advertised its services at the domain name <clearboxllc.com>, where the trademark CLEARBOX is prominently and extensively used throughout each of the webpages.

You did not provide false testimony here did you???

Joan .. if your goal is as you say .. why not conduct a FELONY ONLY check? I mean isnt that what you are preaching about mostly?

If there is a panic it may be due to appraisers feeling a witch hunt coming. It's a shame a decent guy who maybe had a couple extra beers 20 years ago or who got in a fist fight in college has to worry about being able to earn a living in 2014 over it.

And you seem to be feeding the hype.

I think that is called.....Checkmate

I got one from Sterling from Corelogic and LSI used to use Sterling. Now that they merged with Servicelink they want one from USA Special Services. They won't even accept it and I just paid for one. This was fine to do this before, they are bleeding us dry anyway they can. I would be one thing if they couldn't verify it independently through the company, but they can!!!!!! Why should I have to pay for a new one for every client? This is horrible, they don't even send me work and I couldn't pay it anyway. They got one seven years ago you would think they would trust me by now. My record is a clean as a darn whisle.

Nothing beyond 10 years in some states, 7 in others, appears on your background check. Order one on Clearbox. If you don't like it don't post it.

Nothing false. I filed the trademark since 2006 . I owned some of the domains. The domain in question had been squatted upon. I hired an attorney and went through the arbitration process and won.

I don't think you can pull them that way. It is the civil stuff a lot of lenders want. Those searches are expensive.

Apparently appraisers who get sued often don't have any complaints filed against them.
