Moe,

Don't mess with the circles in the boxes. Just type whatever you're looking for in the boxes, such as the address. The SR1A will come up if the property has transferred recently, scroll down the SR1A and the square footage will be there if the assessor put it in. Some do. Some don't.

Re: Vitalgov.net

Installed MacAfee security and now I'm having problems with the SR1A (can get the transfer date & grantee but when I try to get the SR1A form itself, I get nothing! :(

Sooo (Moe, this should help you)--

I go to the ModIV and get the subject info (Moe, ModIV has the SF). Since this
doesn't have the Grantor, I decided to hit the "Sales" button and suddenly the
SR1A form appears!!!! I retried to get the info strictly from the SR1A mod but no
luck--still a blank.

Don't know why, but with my machine I go first to ModIV and go in a back door
to the SR1A.

Hope this helps.

Moe-where are you from. Don't know how my posting says "unknown" location, I'm up in northern Hunterdon County, near Clinton (yuppieville).

(Ben-you've made a few postings, what does "ROFL" mean?)

Regards, Jersey Joe

Joe,

Do you double click on the SR1A line that has the transfer date and grantee? That should bring up the entire SR1A. It pays to check both forms. Sometimes the SR1A's have the s/f and the Mod's don't. Sometimes vice versa.

ROFL is an internet abbreviation for Rolling on Floor Laughing..

Been through Clinton lots of times on my way to Warren County.

Joe and Ben

I solved the problem. It had to do with adobe. It does not work well with adobe 6.0, it works better with adobe 5.0.
Thanks, Moe

Ben,

I rec. the Zoning Maps CD for the entire state Friday. What a great find. Thanks again for the info on Floodmaps.com.

Chris

Chris,

That's good to hear. They are reasonably priced.

Next tip:Copy the CD's to your hard drive and keep them for backup. Loading the maps off the hard drive is much faster.
