Personally, I miss the days when we delivered the appraisal to HUD, not the mortgage company. It would seem that would eliminate the ability of mortgage brokers ordering new FHA appraisals when they don't like the repairs or value of the originally ordered appraisal.
Unless, what I read about lenders trashing the orginal, canceling the first order and ordering the new appraisal would be stopped. Any truth to that Brad?
