If they get into why didn’t you consider this comparable , the appraiser is in trouble. But if you’re jumping miles to find a comp when better comps are more competitive . That is not good. Especially if you have bad language in the report.

This is true racism - Asians are lumped with "white privilege" - only a problem in "Woke" states.

If I recall correctly, several people from here read the lawyer statements for Miller saying that they were sharp as a tack and Bulldogs.

It appears they folded like a deck of cards....
The firm representing Miller is a very good firm. Without knowing the details, you rushed to judgement.

I wonder what model of Tesla the plaintiffs bought with their settlement.

Which ever they wanted....
Maybe purchased 2....

Do you think Miller regrets not listening closer during Fair Lending CE class....

Obviously you've been ignoring my prior posts in this thread....

I am speculating that a trial would have been long and arduous, not to mention very expensive. The court of public opinion will probably never be on Miller's side. It sounds like by settling and getting what looks like a slap on the wrist, it was the best possible outcome. (Although watching that excretable movie is a pretty big punishment) People wonder all the time why people settle court cases if they are not guilty. Mostly because you want it over with and to get on with your life. You make a calculated decision to move on.

When I go into someone's house doing appraisals, I always want to set a rapport not to offend the owner.
Miller may have given a bias attitude which the occupant/owner felt. It's part of the business in not getting the owner upset.

When I appraise a lower income area, I talk with the occupant and they ask me questions like where I live.
I'm ashamed to tell them where I live (high income area) and I would compliment their area in some way. I know the towns and there always something good to say about each town.
I would even say I bought first house in that area and later I moved.
