Hmm, I don't thnk she did. She probably ran out of funds znd energy along with having huge pressure professionally and personal tragedy. At a certain point probably said F this. She has no responsibility to those of us (me included) to rigorously defend the profession. She did her best and probably didn't do too bad settlement-wise. The longer the lawsuit remained unsettled, it gave the plaintiffs a microphone. Now they can say we won, and to punish that nasty appraiser, made her watch a movie. Miller can start to pick up the pieces of her life.
Why didn't Miller try to settle this lawsuit before it dragged on and got out of hand. I would have contacted the Austins (and also showed that I'm not racist) that this appraisal was difficult and explain why I did the best I could with the comps I had to work with. Unless my report was unconsciously flawed.......

I bet Miller could have survived her appraised value....
But couldn't survive her phraseology....

Without her poor choice of words that she decided to employ in the report, her appraised value would have just been considered low....

Let that be lesson to those appraisers not woke and politically incorrect with their phraseology. There is a price to be paid.

Yeah, I bet I have used heterogeneous and homogeneous before in a report. I don't think that will happen again. I'll figure out some way to explain why I have to do what I have to do without heterogeneous or homogeneous. I don't relate that to sex but I can see how some people do.

I relate homogeneous to like an appraisal I really want because competing properties are very similar and I relate heterogeneous to properties where I have to go to God knows where to find best competing properties. Sex is not in my mind set on heterogeneous or homogeneous.

I could not care less what sexual preference the owners have. It never enters my mind on race or sex or whatever. I focus on the subject property. REAL PROPERTY

In the beginning of my career, I saw other appraisers use homogeneous and I used it too. Not long I stopped using it (too lengthy to type?) because it didn't sound right. Never had to use these words ever again until this forum.

SR2 reporting issues involving words that can be reimagined as code have nothing to do with SR1 lowballing allegations.

And your woke-oriented arrogance is getting super annoying.

If you don't see how they are related, then you need to look at your unconscious bias.

If I were you I'd go back through your posting history and start deleting some of the things you've been saying about people and neighborhoods and cars and such. Because you've written enough dumb things on this forum to hang you if some borrower ever decides to accuse you of personal bias.

Has been my experience that those who scream racist and bias the most. Need to look in the mirror

And it's my experience that those who can't acknowledge unconscious bias is worse because they can't see it.
