I will be 72 on July 13th. I have thought of:

1. Retiring
2. Selling my business
3. Working part time

However, I choose not to do.....

1. I have no hobby's or other real interest
2. Want to keep at least more than 50% for my son
3. I already do number 3

So, I have decided to try something different.

I am going to offer:

Office space, support, internet access, MLS support, office supplies, Fax, limited phone service such as taking messages, and possibly....

E & O Insurance

I would provide that amount for a monthly fee, payable the first of each month. Once paid, an appraiser could run their own business from my office. Part of the agreement would be that anyone who converted my business to their own would be subject to a $1,000 charge for each violation.

The appraiser who would agree to use of sapce and services for a fee would then keep their own accounts and 100% of any fees earned. They would need their own computer and printer, and cell phone.

Just an idea at this point. I welcome comments, positive or negative.

Don,

Good luck with retirement. You NEED to find a hobby you like. Man I wish that was my trouble, lol. I've got more hobbies that I love, than I can afford to do.

1st HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sat.

It also might be fun as part of the part time job get yourself appointed to the State Board.

I think you need to start spending more time at your townhouse down here. I know where you can get a good deal on a nice little skiff to do some fishing. I'll even go fishing with you! (just not early in the morning)

Happy birthday. You don't look or act like you are in your 70's.

I have had 3 recommendations in the past 10 years. The last one was by the Virginia Association of Realtors. Never heard from anyone.

You're right of course.

BTW, 72 is my chronological age. My effective age is 35:rof:

Don,

Take up fishing right away. The Outer Banks is a beautiful place to do it also. Go Young Man and start surf fishing, fishing out of a Skiff, fishing out of whatever. Fishing is what you NEED.
