Be very careful
Not so much of a surprise. I have seen several of these. Center I Beam, HUD Tags and Data Plate.:new_all_coholic:
I must assume that it is on a full foundation. No Frame, I have found it very simple. Some fool has pulled the frame out from under it and put it on a foundation.
Be very careful and check box four or call for a full inspection by an engineer who knows HUD\MFG homes.
Been the appraiser on several lawsuits when this has happened. Appraiser was sued right long with everyone else. :Eyecrazy:
Unless as Mr. Heyn has said: "While the vast majority of HUD code homes have a permanent chassis (nearly always steel, but there are a few exceptions to this as well), not all do. A small number of HUD code homes were built, mostly in the 1980's, under a special dispensation program where HUD allowed production of manufactured homes without a permanent chassis. The progam ended in 1988."
