Radiation has started burning my throat too.

Hopefully it won't get as bad as mine. My treatments were Monday thru Friday for six weeks. Plus chemo every Friday. It only took one week of treatments before I had to get the feeding tube. But that was because of the intense schedule and was actually expected to happen. You may not have the same reaction if you are not getting them five days a week

Hey David! Good to see you on here again. Sorry for the travails, but RE the hair - shave your head, man. It's an extremely liberating experience. I've since grown mine back out, but I really enjoyed being bald.

I've been thinking I would get a really short cut to begin with!

Now it turns out I am through with radiation after only 5 treatments! They gave me a cake! Chemo starts in a week also, so I got a break, I guess. They'll do more scans after the first chemo week & see if I need more radiation.
