I have been running Windows 10 for a couple weeks now since it automatically updated me. I have had no problems at all until this afternoon. When I try to open up ACI it keeps in minimized on the bottom tray and I have no idea how to maximize and open it back up. If you found a solution I would love to hear how you resolved it.
I tried restarting and updating ACI which hasn't helped.
Maybe you could right click in the bottom task bar and start Task Manger. From there you might be able to select ACI and 'go to' or ' maximize' or 'expand' or something...
Windows 10 Updates
May 27, 2016
The latest round of Windows updates will promote many machines to the Windows 10 operating system. The good news is that ACI software works much the same on Windows 10 as is did on an older OS. If you find that your system was updated to 10, there are a few things to do for your computer and ACI to run in harmony.
Run the regular ACI WebUpdate (even if you just ran them prior to installing Windows 10) When the regular updates are complete, type win10 in the Special Update ID field, select Go, and continue through the prompts. Click Finish when the install is complete and close the window.
From the task-bar, Go to Start > Settings > Devices and turn OFF the "Let Windows manage my default printer " option. Click on Devices and Printers (just below “Related Settings”) to ensure that your printer is selected. Your default printer is indicated by a green checkmark. If your printer is not set as default, right click on it and select "Set as default printer." Close the Devices and Printers window.
Open the Adobe Reader (If you do not have it installed, click HERE to install it.) Go to Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced). UNCHECK "Enable Protected Mode at startup," another window will pop up asking you to confirm you want it disabled, click Yes. UNCHECK "Enable Enhanced Security." Click OK and close the Adobe Reader.
Once your updates are complete you should be back in business. Here’s the official Windows 10 support page to bookmark as well, just incase you hit a snag. Should you need any additional assistance with your ACI software, we’re here to help! Just give us a call at 800-234-8727 or email onecall@aciweb.com.
