Chinese Drywall

You cannot "disclaim" your way out of liability. If the issue is something an appraiser using due diligence should have discovered, disclaimers or CYA statements are a waste of time.

Why is that Mike? An appraiser cannot be expected to test for everything. Would that liability naturally fall to the provider of the materials, or in turn, the home inspector before the appraiser?

Thanks Winston

There are quite a few lawsuits regarding Chinese Drywall. Google is your friend.

Thanks for ruining my day Winston..... I thought I was the google pro, but have not tinged "lawsuit" after anything. This is a real bummer, I'll have to re-examine everything... On the drywall - 70,500 hits! I'll take your word for it.
