Since we're on the subject. . . it's time for me to go out on my own too. My initials are GD, so I was thinking "GD Appraisals" as in . . .

Where's my GD appraisal!!

This GD appraisal is great!!

or This GD appaisal stinks!!

Honestly, do you think this is too crude??

My other thought was to try Ginappraisals. Too cute, right??

I have thick skin, so please let me know if you guys think I'm way off track here. Thanks.

If you middle initial is O, I would use all 3. Appraisals by G.O.D. has a good ring.

Roy,

A lot of appraisers use their names or initials. This can be good or bad for various reasons mentioned by others. One of the best names used here is Metro Appraisal Service.

You could try geographic or nick names like:

Town & Country....Appraisal Service
Citywide
Westplex
River City
Village
Township
Suburban
Midwest
Northwestern
Windy City
Big Apple

Or institutional names:

Federal :usa:
Colonial
Premier
Washington
Kennsington
Hamiltonian

Or connotative names:

Fast...Appraisal Service
Accurate
Reliable
Trustworthy
Valu-Check
Quick
Valuation Services
Dependable
Lenders :fencing:

Or whimsical names:

The Sky's the Limit
Blue Sky
Looking Glass
Seeing Eye :eyecrazy:

Or choose something that makes a good logo or plays on a name like the gecko used by Geico -- on second thought maybe not -- I hate their commercials.

Good Luck
