Closing costs in Florida question

Of course, it was much ado about nothing - all it really accomplished was that the commissions /splits could not be listed on the MLS with a property. From what I see of RE contracts the total commissions paid are as high as they were before the settlement.

Only the res appraisers, with their dinky fees in the hundreds of dollars, are getting their fees split and gouged; the other RE players making tens of thousands in fees are protected.
Yeah, girlfriend. You know commingling of fees was a rape to the appraisal profession.

Leave him/them alone ! They are making a deal that works. If he got a nice house good for him, there is limited quality inventory here at a decent price ( price relative to its value/location )
Your mixing up the house him and girlfriend with rich step daddy are buying and the house my son is selling.

It is not exactly how you picture it. Her step daddy can help her in Florida on how it works.

I know the area where my son's house is.

To be honest they have been cohabitating in the rich man in Florida wife's and his house for a while and son's house has been vacant.

We don't approve, but it is what it is.

So, the wife is moving to Florida also with the rich step daddy of the girl my son is dating.

Do you get the picture?

Always trust a family member as opposed to a RE professional.
I'm assuming that was typed with the sarcasm button turned on.

Good for them, it sounds like the bf hit the jackpot with a rich stepdaddy buying them a house !

No, they are financing. I would ask personally if I was his girlfriend and her mother if the stepfather would finance it. The mother of the girl is moving back with him in St pete area.

The mother has pull for him to finance it. The mother has been married 6 times. She hit the gold pot on the last one.

I know, you don't need all that info. LOL

Not actually sarcasm. It was fact what I would do if she was my girlfriend. I know the mother and whole family except Step father. I would lean on the step father for financing.

No sarcasm. He is very wealthy. Airplane rich.

But I would not move period without marrying her. See?

He is grown man. I can help on financing and that is about it.

He is big boy and works out 7 days a week. I can only do what I can do but I know what i WOULD DO, Ask step daddy for financing.

Baby what rate would your mother and step father give us? That's me. But without being married, it complicates things.

They have already been living in his house with mother and wife a long time.

It is somwhere in $6-700K range the step dad don't live in.

No sacrasm on my part in the picture.

I am pretty good at sarcasm though. Got me in trouble a few times. This is not one of them.

There are some children involved also in the equation also from different partners.

But He is my SON.
