Collecting fees - Factoring

Hi,

JVI owes me over 3K. What did you state in your letter and what bank are you referring to?

BTW, my name if Jeff.

Not just rapidly expanding business. Also business where timely payment is essential. For instance an appraiser living on the edge financially where one missed or late payment from a client could push them over the edge might very well benefit from a factor agreement. It would all depend on the nature of the individual business and the clients served. The more concentrated your orders from a single client the better idea it is to use a factor agreement. The reduction in risk is often well worth the money.

Sadly after some unexpected expenses thats about where I am. I hate to give up 5% of my inovoices from good clients but I need cash now. Only problem is I'm sure its going to take time to set up an agreement and they won't take my current outstanding invoices.

Then come the first of the year I'd like to cancel, but there is a cancel fee...

Anyone know what's going on with JVI? I have sent several emails and attempted to call but haven't received a response. They owe me over $1000 from a few assignments 6 months ago.
Did they ever even merge with that "Fortune 500" company? Or was that even true in the first place?

We too have not received a call back from JVI. Unfortunately we cannot take any more JVI invoices until we get word from them and the status of their acquisition.

We are also owed monied by JVI for non-payment of appraisals delivered. We are currently dealing with a contact within the FBI on this case and require a list of all appraisers owed monies by them. We need the following information on each one:

Appraisers name and address

Contact number

Approximate amount owed

How long have the monies been outstanding.

Lenders the appraisals were completed for.

Please pass this around if you know other appraisers as well owed monies and have them email me direct at IJH@IJHILL.COM. We have been informed by Wells Fargo that JVI have been paid for all appraisals delivered to them

Ivor
