My Marshall & Swify subscription runs out soon. I have been paying the $600 per year for the Residential 7 software, mostly to get a cost approach for manuufactured homes. I have heard of Bluebook. Is there anything out there for less money that works?

I am interested in C2C software as well. The per unit option from alamode does not work for me.

M & S has pretty much monopolized the biz since buying Boeckh which had a far superior product called Boeckh Check (yeah, it rhymes) RIP....cheaper and far far superior imho. If you can't beat 'em then buy 'em.

Thanks, any feedback on Bluebook or any other alternatives?

Here is a link to a free cost service, but BEWARE ~ you get what you pay for.

I have found that using their lowest quality for a basic vinyl sided spec house is on the high side compared to local builder cost and M&S.

I like Swiftestimator, as is [supposedly] integrates with my appraisal software (Clickforms), but I can't get that to work on my desktop... Norton conflict I assume.

I have also been searching, and have considered Bluebook and R.S. Means. I liked the demo of Bluebook.

Best wishes on your search.

The pay per use version is not a good plan for me. The $600 looks good compared to a year of Swiftestimator.
