Any info about this firm located in Rock Hill, NY

They appear to be a small firm in Monticello NY, starting next week I'll be in Monticello for the summer weekends, if anything concerns you, I can do a drive-by check up on them next week, I'll let you know if the guy wears a mullet and what truck he drives, let me know if they don't pay you.....

You making fun of haircuts?:rof::rof:.....Give me a shout later,

If you been to Monticello you'll understand.....

And from Mike's link it seems that my assumption is correct....:leeann2:

I don't know if this is the same company(same name different address) that contacted me. The current president/owner is Sean Rieber. Perhaps he took over the company from Buckles.

There is some shady stuff going on up in these parts. Be careful and do not appraise in these areas if you are not locationally competent to do so. You know the routine. COD and make sure you keep a hard copy of your report that is date stamped in the appraisal work file.

I am currently the owner of the firm and it is no longer Mr. Buckles. If anyone here has any questions or issues outstanding, a simple e-mail or PM to me will get them resolved almost immediately. Lacking any issues with anyone on this board, it would be appreciated if the company name was no longer dragged through the mud by a group of individuals who really don't know all of the facts that were involved in something from 2 years ago. Today is a new day, this office has a new staff and a new group of appraisers and we would prefer to go forward, not backwards.

With respect to Mr. Weiss' remarks about the haircut and the pickup truck, do you not think that was a completely inappropriate stereotype and displays a high level of ignorance? I am sure that I could offer the same ignorant type of stereotype given you hail from Brooklyn and spend your summer weekends in Monticello. However, I don't stereotype you at all. Please don't stereotype me or the year round members of my community.

With respect to Mr. Kennedy, I have seen your prior posts on Mr. Buckles. I don't know if you know him personally and I know you don't know me. However, I would appreciate a fresh start in your book.

And finally, Ms. Vasseur. I have reviewed your remarks in the past as well and I have also reviewed many, many of your appraisals in the past couple of years. I have found your work to be of good quality and always felt comfortable when receiving a field review or desk review on something you have done. You have my respect, please give me yours.

Let's end the Countywide Appraisal debacle once and for all.

Ouchhhhh, that hurts....

Now back to business, with all due respect to you Mr. Rieber, I apologize if you took my comment as stereotyping and felt offended, with all honesty, if you visit the NY forum often, you'll understand that that's what we do here, we are being sarcastic, we kid around, and throw jokes and one another, this is us, this is the stereotype of a New Yorker, ever watch Saturday Night Live? does anybody get offended when they stereotype? I don't think so! so please lighten up and take this like a New Yorker will.....

My best wishes
Eli

Perhaps I should come over and have a cup of coffee with you......unless you'll kick me out of there :rof:
