Well, that is/was not quite the same assumption that Phil made now, is it? But I don't want to accuse anyone of being an apologist People are free to listen for themselves and decide for themselves what Phil was asserting/alleging.

Again, my big question is this - Given that Phil himself recommended contacting me for a statement, why did he not do that? I have certainly gotten calls like that in the past from folks who were about to "run with a story."

Yep, the true believers never like to hear an opposing point of view. You are actually perfect for Phil's podcast...you fit right in with his target audience and he keeps telling you exactly what you want to hear. You must be on the edge of your seat every week waiting for the next podcast so you can listen to the next conspiracy theory or the next malcontent guest he brings on to trash the GSEs, the AI, AMC's or whomever else they believe is conspiring to doom appraisers.

Wow !! Deep in the archives for that one. Where is Joyce when you need her?

Zaio paid me for an analysis of how USPAP applied to the process that they developed. As Phil C correctly said in that podcast, virtually any process can be made USPAP compliant. Z hired me to help with that. They also tried to sell me zones, but that never happened. Their business model just didn't make sense to me.

I am not 100% sure, but I think that they were part of the IAC at one time.

Yes sir, when the AMC fee is paid by the appraiser, the appraiser is getting screwed. When you agree or are complacent with that system then you are part of the screwing.

Shocking that Phil's show would be pushing another conspiracy theory (this one involving Danny Wiley) with absolutely no evidence to back it up. I have to hand it to Phil, he has built a nice little business producing a podcast that tells a certain segment of appraisers exactly what they want to hear...next, he will be alleging that Danny's company ServiceLink accepts and makes payments using crypto-currencies, lol.

I paid Phil off to back off of CRN Sorry Danny.
