Prior to a central MLS system there were tons of smaller, private ones in the sticks. I stopped at one Realtor to pick up the listing sheet of the subject and two things really cracked me up. Under the roof heading it stated: Just put on! as opposed to new. For windows they had: Jealousy Wow, windows with emotions.

Does not look like a spelling problem to me. The maroon does knot no the difference between rod iron and wrought iron...looked like rods to them. And cinder block, center block HnR block....whatza big deal?

Almost like the idiots who continue to tell me that paint on the walls makes a house good condition. When I ask about heat/cool systems updates they say they don't know, then ask about plumbing - don't know. This goes on and on and then they say again - Its been painted. Based on this logic, the next time I go to my doc for a physical, I'll wear lots of makeup and then tell him that nothing could be wrong with me cause I've got makeup on. I must be in good condition.

Amazes me that they don't get sued more often than they do.

All on the same listing:

Vinly Siding. New Kith. Graite counetrs. Fencenced yard. Possible mother/dauther. Taxes are being grieved. Georgeous yard.

Followed by this statement-"All infromation deemed corect but not gauranteed."

About a year ago I ran into a broker who looked and talked like Zsa Zsa Gabor. I remember concentrating so hard to understand her. Then I read one of her listings and couldn't stop laughing. She types with her accent. The listing mentioned the "fabolous Zacuzzi baths" about 3 times.

Or, Baxter Black's farm humor "hog finishing equipment" was not to be confused with putting lipstick on a pig.

Yeah, I know...

Having seen the property it is safe to say that it has a wrought-iron fence with slump stone pilasters.

Should I call the agent and tell her? Naaaaah...it's Friday night!
