I do not have the link but Reuters is reporting that the deal is 0on hold due to objections by regulators and OFHEO specifically.

At least someone here is considering those unintended consequences.

Can't wait to score my $150.00 fee for a 1004!

This may solve the LO's ordering from skippy but I think it will drive down offered fees even more since we know the only thing that matters is the lowest fee possible.

Great...$150 or slightly more for an appraisal fee....hmmm $1800 a year for software, $600 a year for MLS, office supplies, gas an close to $4 a gallon....

My break even ratio might not be so even if this is the case.

I figured there would be some major issue with this.

Another thing that people seem to be forgeting is this is an agreement only with Fannie/Freddie.
