Has anybody tried Deepseek yet? I haven't been able to signup due I guess to them being hacked.

So, in case you don't know,it is just as good, more or less, as anything we have in the US. But, it is free and so much smaller, you can put it on your computer.

Amazing. Have to try it, even if it is Chinese.

Poor OpenAI with it's $200/month ChatGPT. Well, that can't last much longer.

All AI stocks down today, as well as chip stocks. Microsoft down 6+%.

Big news for sure.

I downloaded 4 different models and running them with ollama. The 32b is a bit slow on my hardware, but not as bad as equivalent llama models. 14b seems perfect for personal use running locally at least on my hardware

AI is weird about that stuff. I tried to look up business addresses for the wifes job and Llama 3.2 started quoting anti-stalking laws?
