I am appraising in a PUD where the units are only connected to each other by their decks; there are no common walls. Thoughts on whether you would classify as detached or semi-detached?

Who owns the area between the units?there is a deck below the gate but either way... thanks for the feedback.
a SFR with a house around it is not the same thing and neither is a house with a concdee walkway betwtee n them.So a fence makes a detached semi-detached. Some of you better retire. How about if there was a concrete walkway between them. Thanks goodness some of you don't live where every house has a fence around it.
.... girl I know too well asked me whether the hernia i disclosed to her was contagious, contiguously !!!!!!! [She also recently advised me that she never heard of Cheech N Chong, and if that ain't a generational disconnect, what is????]Semi-detached, kinda like semi-pregnant, semi-dead, or one of my favorites...semi-contiguous.
