One reason I refrain from getting too far into a love fest with a property owner is because I sometimes return a value conclusion they don't like, at which point they consider it a betrayal of our relationship. I'm pleasant, I'm civil, I'm professional, but I'm not there to make friends or extend my personal circle of trust.

As for the property, parts are parts. I am compelled to take the assignments that involve a beater every bit as seriously as the trophy. That includes extending the same level of interaction with the people involved. I'm not going to allow myself to get caught treating some people better than others.

Appreciates receiving a sincere compliment....

On several occasions, In the past, I have paid compliments to homeowners regarding their interior decor, paint color choices, landscaping, use of space, etc....
And in the future I will continue to do so....
Of course I'm assuming that I will eventually receive a future assignment....
