my kinda guy.

My carpenter was text messaging three girls at the same time...and I'm paying him $40 an hour??...he got mixed up and told the cutie to stay home, got to the house to find the fat girl waiting on him. Serves him right..... :rof:

Mine plays Boston's More than a feeling...and I have 240 million unread text messages.

I did send a picture once, just to show a client what a rotted floor looked like.

i have never had the cutting edge technology. I am always playing catch-up.

I do have a sprint mobile card for my laptop, works well everywhere I go, so I probably don't need a crackberry.

Try the google calendar. It automatically syncs with your BB. Whatever you put in your calender on your computer or your BB appears on the other.

Wayne, 3 of the groups I am with have google calendars, I maintain two of the three. Here is the problem with that. Since the BB can not categorize, you have to be careful syncing with them. The BB sees all 3 as one calendar. So when it syncs, all the calendars become intemingled with each other on google. Go ahead, ask me how I know.

I currently use a BB but am seriously thinking about migrating to an iPhone since it now will support "enterprise" email. My main problem with my current BB is the fact that internet use is really hampered with many needed sites (RIMS, etc.) simply not available and attachments (primarily PDF and Excel) are difficult to work with. I've used my son's iPhone to access these same web sites seamlessly, but haven't tried the iPhone for attachments. Does anyone have any experience with that?

Do you mean recieving attachments?
If so, its just plain old simple. My faxes come via pdf, couldnt be easier to open, read, and resize.

Dean, are you using an iPhone?

PL, I get pdfs on my black berry all the time. No problem opening, resizing, etc.

The stock web browser is not that good. Go search for and download opera mini. Works great. Which BB do you have? I use a curve and my daughter has a pearl. both run opera.

I've got an 8700. It was nice and new and cool when I got it, but it's a dinasour now. Maybe it's a function of screen resolution, etc, but my problem is with multipage pdf's which come to me as small thumbnails that become unreadable as I zoom in.

Yeah, whn zoomed, the resolution does go way down.
