Doctor doesn't like me

Yup... throw a couple ibuprofens back and keep going.

The main thing is you got to keep moving to keep moving. Once you get sedentary, it's over.
I am proactive. Take a couple before the game. Thigh wrap for goofy hamstring, ankle brace for trick ankle, knee pads since I still slide and play infield and I still try to play like I am still in high school at age 70

Back to the main topic of the thread..... I don't understand why Fernando thinks the doctor doesn't like him. The doctor offered some drugs, he refused. The doctor offered physical therapy.... we are unclear what happened there. And, the doctor gave a referral for an EKG with no indication of needing one.

So, the doctor seems dang accommodating to me. Why don't you think the doctor likes you Fernando? Did you do an appraisal on their house? :)

I saw another doctor last month and also felt she didn't like me (I felt she wasn't competent).
Blood test was done for my glucose and cholesterol and were in within range.
This time additional blood tests and appear within range except WBC in high bell range.
Doctor would say it's within range (even though at extreme range) but I want to more in median. Doctor scoffed at me. Was it too much for me to ask.
What can I do or treatment to get less than ideal figures lower.
I told her I don't accept genetics as the easy answer.

The doctor liking or not liking you is irrelevant. It seems based on the above comment that you need to see the other kind of doctor where you lie on a couch and spill your guts.

Clean up your diet and start minding when you put into your body. Yes, I remember some post of yours where you're eating at buffets and other restaurant ventures. Join a gym and start attacking the climber or the treadmill along with some weights. No, walking the dog is not exercise. Look at your local adult education classes and take up something that you always wanted to do.... woodworking, pottery, archery..... something that challenges your mind to work.

Easy for doctors to say exercise more and eat right. I exercise more than average American and I cut down on my junk food (few sodas).
If I know what caused my nerve pain, I want to prevent it from happening again.
At least my chiropractor is more holistic and put me on this stretch machine every week. Though he recommended meditation.....

You probably have some spinal compression or a herniated disc. An MRI is the only way to find out.

You don't want to seem to accept the fact that your aging and your body's breaking down which, happens to everybody.

Going to the chiropractor weekly is just a crutch. You can go on Amazon and pick up a stretching device and do it at home yourself. Solving your muscle inbalances ( one side weaker than the other, you're stronger muscles compensating and thus, pinching a nerve) is going to take work on your part.

Take up the initial doctor's offer of going to a physical therapist and learning the right exercises that solve your muscle imbalances to make you feel better.

If you're depressed, go see a shrink and spill your guts.

herniated disc
Wouldn't likely be a level 1 pain. Typically a hot flame down the back of the leg and/or some paralysis. Not good for sure. I've had a pinched nerve in hip to that. Chiropractor is basically a temporary fix for most things.

His pain level on a scale of 1 to 10 is a "1". He'd be wasting the time of the professional technicians and cut it in front of people who "really" need an MRI.

He just needs to do the right exercises and he'll be fine.

Sounds like he needs attention.

I think I have around a level 1 now; my mid-back aches and I still get a little sciatica bite when I get out of bed but getting stronger doing deadlifts and other strengthening moves. I was probably in the 6 to 7 level after my booboo.
