I currently have 10 unpaid invoices from OAS. I have sent multiple emails to Dave Herzog and submitted my unpaid invoices to GSB. GSB has advised that they have paid Dave Herzog for all invoices and are in the process of sending me their evidence of payment. I am stuck at this point in knowing what to do as many of you may also be. However, I would be more than happy to begin the process of filing suit against OAS with other appraisers. This would make a better case if all of us got together to go against OAS. Please send me an email and we can begin the correspondence. I am located in central Missouri. OAS is GONE.....Wasting your time trying to squeeze money out of a company that no longer exists is futile. I am still waiting to get paid $250.00 from Land America from almost 4 years ago. Go after Great Southern Bank. I think if you guys would all get together and walk into Joe Turners office unannouced you might have better luck.

Write it down so you don't forget. OAS is never going to pay you. Start draggin' all the borrowers to small claims court...(you won't win, but who cares...the point is to get the banks attention). You think the bank won't listen when borrowers start calling them wanting to know why they are being sued by an appraiser? You gotta **** them off if you want results.

Anytime I have been owed money on appraisals, the only way I was successful collecting is if I have acted half crazy calling four times a day and just start filing law suits.....(why do you think bill collectors do what they do)? In my 8 years appraising, with the exception of my mentor who who refused to pay me $2,000 in appraisal work that she owed me after I went out on my own (she is now a USPAP instructor), I have only been unsuccessful at collecting on one assignement...the one I mentioned above from LandAmerica.

I would be interested in joininh a lawsuit against OAS but like sean said they are a ghost now. If you have a plan and a way of filing i would be interested.
