Doug's Goals

Well since spring time hit the east coast I have walked to take comp shots on my jobs in the city and some suburban subdivisions but this takes time and that not always a good thing. Been eating a lot of bananas and apples, oranges and the like between meals staying away from pretzels and chips. There is a nice park close to the office with a zoo so sometimes I force myself to take a real lunch break and trade one “zoo” for the other.

Welcome back Andrew!!

I have been doing salads, tuna, no carbs, walking, water and being sick .... have actually lost an inch in my waist this week .... I am not sure I have lost any weight, but I can tell it in my waistband .... I am going all the way to 225 .... and it ain't downhill ....

Right now I am 6-4 and weight 270lbs .... I want to lose 50lbs .... .... Can I get back into 38's again?
Doug, I am about 6’4” and weigh 225lbs and I can't get in 38s, I need to shift the mass from my waist to my chest, arms and legs. The charts say I am at my Idea weight but the physical depreciation is what’s killing this deal  .

I walk because no matter where you are your feet are always there  .

If you work form home exclusively then the bike thing sounds the best for low impact on the knees. I have had both mine done once and the left one twice. Biking for me always worked the best for rehabbing plus you get somewhere, while walking gets you nowhere or so it seems. Another way to exercise is try and take the stairs if you have to go to the county courthouse for any record searches.

 Good luck with the lifestyle change and the continued weight loss  .

In the summer, I have taken to carrying a basketball in the back of the truck...when you get a break...stop at a park and shoot a few...Kinda fun

Bummer. Just asked a client friend where another fellow who worked for him was, as I haven't heard from him in a month or two. Client said he died a month ago, of a heart attack. Came in from mowing grass, sat down on couch and died. Mid 40's. Great guy he was. Just knew him about two years, but I will miss him. Spoke his mind, and one knew where he stood with him.

Mid 40's. Trim. Smoked heavily w' a few family problems. Lesson to be learned .... he had a few spells, but didn't go get checked out. Also, don't smoke. Wow. I can't believe he's gone.

Good Afternoon,

I posted earlier about a workout format I use for losing weight and fitness. Lotsa reps and low weights.

Just thought I would say thanks to all. I was slacking off and now am back on track since you guys/girls got me thinking about it.

36's are gettin looser, don't know if I will ever see 34's again but a feller needs all the inspiration he can get so keep up the progress reports.
