I drew Full floorplans for the first 10 years, then only if it was a simple layout. My clipboard sketch still has internal walls, but not the final report because I do not want it to be misleading. As always, exterior doors an amenities are placed in my sketchs.

I haven't been doing any of that for 20 years. Just the exterior walls and room placements. No one has ever said a thing. The only time I do a wall is for functional obsolescence.

I think it is lender specific. We are required on the new form to give the square footage, if it’s heated, does it have electricity, etc.

As a general rule, I typically just put in the measurements. Unless it is a building that has a more complex floor plan. Then I may just simply draw it for my own benefit to figure out the square footage. I have one lender that requires interior photographs of all outbuildings bigger than 12 x 12. So as a general rule, I always just take it into your photo.
