Most coffee is being imported from Brazil. They have like a 40% tariff on them on coffee. It does have kick to it. Even decaffeinated coffee and tea has a little caffeine

I have talked to manufacturers about it. Some things Zoe knows. LOL.

I am trying to play Fern. LOL

You know starbucks is getting hurt on that tariff on Brazil.

They probably import most of their coffee from Brazil or Columbia.
I'm good. I bought a big box of coffee pods at Costco which should last me for another 6 months.

I question the causality here. I would argue that it's NOT drinking black coffee that leads to better benefits, but (IMHO) more likely the fact that people who prefer no sugar or cream in their coffee PROBABLY prefer less sugary drinks and foods in general.

Thoughts?

NAIL. MEET. HAMMER.

This is an example of what Scott Adams has termed "Backwards Science". You saw it right away. (y):clapping:

Compounds found in coffee beans could offer a new way to help people living with diabetes manage their condition.
Three compounds in particular have demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on α-glucosidase, a key enzyme in carbohydrate digestion.

"Coffee diterpenes are a class of characteristic components in coffee, which have potential biological activities including the prevention of cancer, obesity, diabetes, and other diseases," the researchers wrote in their paper.

I always drink my coffee just Black. I get the sugar from the pancakes and pastries.
Speaking of sugar, I will be seeing a doctor to see if I'm diabetic.
1st........ Most of our coffee is imported from Brazil or Columbia.

So I know it has to be hurting Starbucks due to tariffs. We import more coffee from Brazil than anywhere so you know Starbucks is involved. I haven't heard lately but I think Trump put a 40% tariff on coffee from brazil.

2nd,....... I don't care how you drink your coffee. Drink it the way you like it.

3rd........ Tell me if you are having any symptoms that make you think you might be type 2 diabetic.

If you drink it black, I think you are okay on type 2 diabetes. The sugar sweets you are getting may have to stop. Need a substitute on the pancakes and pastries with the black coffee.

Do you like something without sugar in it? Maybe an egg? Idk.

Some sugars are less complex than like table sugar. They get out of your system quicker. Like fresh fruit, honey. If you have type 2 diabetes, the pastries and pancakes and complex sugars will need to be minimum.

I have heard coffee is very good for you. Some people drink black coffee all day long without any additives. That caffeine gives a kick.

Some people have to get a cup of coffee almost immediately when they wake up. Some have coffee brewer on timer where it is ready when they wake up.

I like iced coffee with sugar free cream. I like it black also with nothing. I just like the taste. The caffeine is a bonus. LOL

Some people like their coffee so black with nothing where it is like syrup. Caffeine galore. You can literally make coffee so strong it will look like syrup almost.

That's turkish coffee, finely ground. Love the little cups they sip from. A 9oz cup would probable kill you.

There are pros and cons of coffee. Some say good for your heart but does raises blood pressure.
Best just to take in moderation until another research studies say otherwise.
