You need to look out for your own business. Any BS that the AMC wants you to do that seems highly or even mildly suspect, should be quickly denied. Remember, if you get in trouble those ****stains at the AMC will try to blame everything on you.

If they pulled a permit on it, and code issued the permit, a building inspector had to approve it from the authority.
