Economic Impact Of Hurricanes

And I think it's pretty hilarious to watch you do your denial two-step in the face of the overwhelming opinions of "real" scientists. :eyecrazy:

“Hurricanes get their energy from warm ocean waters, and the oceans are warming because of the human-caused buildup of heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere.”

Care to post some of that overwhelming real science?

Opinions are what everyone has, whether they are informed or not, whether they understand the subject matter or not - like you Pete. :rof:

Yep, no causation right Pete? :rof:

Heat trapping human emissions according to Dr Mann and your understanding don't cause anything. Human emissions might contribute to something although they can't be sure what it is since there is no cause and effect nor statistical association nor correlation because all that requires quantification which as you testify, does not exist. :rof::rof:

Global Warming & Atmosphere Composition Created By Space Rocks

IT IS the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth’s surface.

When a space rock struck the ground nearly 40 million years ago in what is now Canada, the impact briefly heated rocks to 2370 °C. That’s halfway to the temperature at the sun’s surface. The blistering heat has been revealed by an unexpected source: gemstones.

When space debris crashes into Earth, the impact creates hellishly hot temperatures in the collision zone. Such impacts when our planet was young changed its atmosphere and crust, and affected its habitability.

Strange how scientists can quantify temperature and causation for something that happened 40 millions years ago, yet, climate scientists today say they can't attribute cause and effect to human emissions on global warming or storms. They believe it might contribute to something but can't say for sure. There is no way to quantify the effect of human emissions. :rof:

Keep it up Randy, eventually you'll convince yourself that your anti-science crusade is right! Spending a lot of time trying to convince me. But I understand it's more of a self-ego stroking thing. :rof::rof:

Back to the economic impact of hurricans.

'Life-threatening' Tropical Storm Jose could regain hurricane strength before slamming US east coast from North Carolina to New England as Hurricane Max dumps heavy rain over Mexico

upload_2017-9-15_11-44-58.png

'Interests along U.S. east coast from North Carolina northward to New England should monitor the progress of Jose during the next several days.'

The official hurricane and storm watchdog added: 'Swells generated by Jose are affecting Bermuda, the Bahamas, the northern coasts of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico, and the southeast coast of the United States, and will spread northward along the mid-Atlantic coast of the U.S. during the next few days

Cut down those dead trees.
