Elon Musk Promotes Tweet Calling for Democracy to Be Replaced With ‘Republic’ Run By ‘High Status Males’

No member of Appraisers Forum would qualify....

I believe if Elon was serious he would have posted this on Truth Social instead of X....

Do you think Elon already has own secret private army....

it is an interesting observation (hardly a wholehearted endorsement of every word in that 4chan post) that accurately reflects the free palestine movement where 80-95% of the protestors don't know what from the river to the sea actually means

and I hate to be 'that guy' but were not a democracy

Tweet Calling for Democracy to Be Replaced With ‘Republic’
The US is a Republic, not a democracy. As Thoreau said, "The majority rule not because they are right, but because they are physically stronger."

There is absolutely no doubt that we are no longer a democracy. One critical component of a democracy is that there be a 'level playing field' between working classes, middle classes, and elite classes. Such is not the case in America today (if it ever was). From a 2019 study by Edward Luce: “Studies show that an eighth grade [i.e. a 14-year-old] child from a lower income bracket who achieves maths results in the top quarter is less likely to graduate than a kid in the upper income bracket scored in the bottom quarter. This is the reverse of how meritocracy should work.” And again, "the average pretax income of the top tenth of Americans has doubled since 1980, that of the top 1 percent has more than tripled, and that of the top 0.001 percent has risen more than sevenfold—even as the average pretax income of the bottom half of Americans has stayed almost precisely the same."

It's just incomprehensible to me that most folks don't understand this - or just choose to ignore it.

I made it to 8:11 before my brain hurt from a couple yentas cackling about the dumbest shii. Elons 'failures' lmao I could elaborate but if you go in with the idea he sucks no one is going to change your mind

You can thank the low expectations of government-run schools for that grim statistic.
