Employee in Fannie Mae Sextortion' Case Has Moved on in Life

the question should be...if they cannot police themselves...how the **** can the police the appraisers :ROFLMAO:

That guy played the office romance game and then he got caught. He put his secrets in the hands of a dancer, no less. He gets what he gets for being stupid.

There's no such thing as a secret.
He gets what he gets? His bio as the Managing Partner of the staffing company in DC, says he brings his years of experience at FNMA to the table, lol

that pervert was probably giving her the same lines they give appraisers...it is part of the sow no deleting or modifying allowed...now take off your clothes
Boom goes the dynamite....

He got fired for cause. That's a negative outcome and that will usually limit a worker's ability to get another job at that level. What did you want to happen to him? Summary execution at dawn for paying her for her favors?

Violations of the HR policies occurs at literally all types of employers including govt, schools, churches, and even in appraisal companies. Why this example would stand out to anyone who is engaged in arguing about Fannie's underwriting policies is a connection any of you are capable of making. All you're doing with this one is screeching.

Do Fannie/Freddie have the right to establish their own underwriting policies or not? Because if they do then that's basically the end of any discussion about appraisers "fighting" to force them to change.

A question based on a factually false premise isn't much of a question.

They don't police appraisers. What they do is decide which appraisals they will and won't accept.

And they somehow don't seem to understand that many of us don't believe a word they tell us.

From Jeremy Baggot's newsletter (7/14/23):

"Jonathan Miller, president and CEO of New York appraisal firm Miller Samuel, Inc., recently reported that nearly half of all Texas appraiser complaints are now from Freddie and Fannie. Miller, in his Appraiserville blog, reports a full 49% of all appraisal complaints coming into the Lone Star State are from the mortgage giants, and that 95% of those complaints, after perfunctory examination, find their way to the circular file.

Last year, it was reported that Fannie Mae was strong-arming lenders to repurchase early Covid-era loans. Fannie appears to view them as too risky for its portfolio – which is really saying something. As a ploy, say observers, Fannie is generating automated valuations similar to Zillow’s “Zestimates” and using them to undermine actual appraisals on loans it wants to offload, with the appraiser and/or the lender being the fall-guy.

Fannie’s automated system then generates unsigned boilerplate complaints and sends them to state appraiser licensing boards – a scorched-earth tactic that requires appraisers in some states to spend years clearing their names in the often baseless complaints. Fannie reportedly then cites the ongoing investigations, which Fannie itself triggered, as further evidence of the need for the lender buybacks."

hey georgie boy...pull out the pom poms :ROFLMAO:

I agree that shotgunning complaints is immoral and counterproductive. I don't think Fannie should be doing it this way. If they want to get tough with appraisers they should make their case individually. And THEN file the complaint.

With that said, the numbers count because not all the appraisals Fannie takes in generate a complaint. Meaning, some appraisers are doing better with Fannie that others. And if the numbers of complaints are less than half of the appraisals they accept then we're not talking about the majority of appraisers being treated like that.

Fannie gets criticized for taking in trash and accepting appraisals from donkeys, and then they get criticized for rejecting and complaining about trash. It's as if they can't win. How about you pick a principle and stick with it?

That's a rhetorical question. I already know the reason for your chronic hypocrisy.
