FED Holds Steady

Feed them soy and bring down those prices....
We ate soy burgers in high school. I knew the chef at my high school. She told me it is mostly soy burger. LOL That was like 1970's.

Classmates would say oh no, soy burgers again. LOL

Soy Burgers?
Didn't know they exist. Never ate a soy burger.
Did eat a meatless burger few times and no good. Meatless food has too much salt which can kill people.

Quit bragging. Feel sorry for your tenant with a restaurant that cost of goods sold is going up and they have to raise prices. Have you eat at your tenant's place of business?

I didn't know his costs was so high since he complained about egg prices when they were high or chicken prices when it went up few years ago.
He realized the customer is cost sensitive. Can't raise the menu prices too high.
I thought his business was doing well. Then I look at the adjacent restaurant tenants in my building, and they had fewer customers.

Seventh-day Adventist have been eating them for 50 years. First called a "Veggie Burger" or "Garden Burger". Out local health food store run by SDA folks has had them for at least 50 years.

too much salt
Not everyone is salt-sensitive although on average, many people can consume too much salt, and it will raise their blood pressure.

Regulations on farmers has increased costs and those costs are passed on. And California leads the nation is nonsensical regulation from additives in foods fed to cattle, water usage and cost, "humane" enclosures (as if a chicken cares whether his buddy is 1' away or 3'... chickens are flock animals.) They will die if left alone. Dairy cow mandates over "methane" has cost dairy farms millions. Again, you pay for it ultimately. BTW, all those Prop. 12 regulations apply to any egg or chicken produced anywhere in the USA.

Never thought about that. Californians eat more healthier food than rest of America.

depends upon what you call "healthy"... And Utah ranks first in the "healthy" food category,

I would say that groups like Mormons, Mennonite, Amish, and Seventh-day Adventists have the healthiest diets. But anyone who avoids processed foods is likely having a healthier diet than those who eat processed foods. The carnivore diet (meat, veggies, nuts etc.) is likely healthier than any grain based diet. And the human animal has evolved over time to eat what is available. We were once lactose intolerant but today most humans can eat dairy throughout their lives. Limiting carbs is essential to managing diabetes.
