FED left rates unchanged

With the exception of most of the current administration. You are about the most anti American worker individual I have ever run into.
I am calling it as I see it. It's happening now with major companies hiring remote foreign workers than more costly American workers.
Just like tariffs don't work. Trump started it and Biden continues it.
Americans are paying the high prices with these tariffs and don't realize it. Instead whine about inflation.

Our revolutionaries realize about the unjust tariffs forced on the Americans by the English.
Unlike us, our forefathers fought for the injustice and said enough is enough and brought about change - a new stronger Nation.

You do realize that the tariffs were in place way before inflation exploded.
I am calling it as I see it.
The only thing I see is your acceptance at weak attempt at justifying outsourcing and replacing American workers with foreign workers. You constant search for cheap foreign labor for you own purposes is all of the objective sources I need

A blind man speaks. We buy our military clothing from the Chinese. What happens if we go to war with China? Our soldiers are poorly clothed. We have our tanks made from Chinese steel. Our industrial machines are made in China. Engine blocks. Transmissions.

There are some things we need to build here...lots of things in fact. We need to be able to feed ourselves, cloth ourselves and arm ourselves and provide our own energy (oil, coal, whatever). By allowing companies to export their intellectual properties to China, we have made the Chinese military strong enough that they can and will take over Taiwan.

Half the junk sold to us from China is truly junk, cheap worthless junk. Their clothing does not last. Their appliances do not last. A Westinghouse from Ft. Smith Arkansas used to last 20 years or more but the plant closed. One made overseas might last 8 or 9. Cost 80% of what the US made one did. The same for AC systems. My AC is 32 years old and cools just fine. My mother installed a new system in 2002 in her house to replace a window unit that was installed 30 years before, and the new unit lasted six years...within 4 years it was no longer even repairable. that window unit? I gave it to a fellow who was down and out on his luck and rented a house. When he moved a few years later he left it there and it was still working.

All China makes is trash. The Harbor Freight tools wear out. I bought a portable air compressor, and it died in one year. China made. Same for all those battery powered tools. Most fail within a year or two. Contractors will tell you that they buy them because the name brands cost double but are now made in China and are trash too. So they buy 2 or 4 at a time. Another guy said he buys Milwaukee brand tools but checks the box to make sure they are US made. Because Milwaukee tools are also made in China and Mexico. Porter-Cable, DeWalt, and Black & Decker were made in the USA...I believe they are 100% owned by B & D and made in China or Mexico. They are nothing like the old Porter-Cable made in the USA. My P-C tools back when an independent company are 30 years old and function perfectly. So look for a Skilsaw made in USA. It's pretty much the same as it has been for 80 years. The pro carpenters use Skilsaw. They are US made.

Consumers are stupid. They buy on price 99% of the time. Then they buy on name without looking at the history and origin of the product they buy.

Futures aren't looking good for tomorrow morning's open.

Biden's Wall Street cronies will try and prop up the market - look for a rally as the talking heads this week to tell us everything is great. They won't let the indexes fall to 20% correction - recession territory. OTOH. By the end of September, the 3rd quarter results may be unstoppable and nothing will hurt Kamala's chances worse than a bad market in October and massive layoffs. It would be interesting to see if retailers have curtailed supplies for the Christmas season in anticipation of a grim market.

Frankly, if the market is going to collapse 2008 style, I'd just as soon Kamala be president.

Globalization has helped our economy grow. Companies here can go overseas and manufacture at lower prices. That model has made Apple a most valuable company.
Our average salaries have gone up much more than in Europe and Japan. We must be doing something right.

Well king fern, then you would agree to appraisals being done by people in india with CU help. and maybe the inspections done by illegals who need work. Bet that would help your personal economy grow, or go straight to h'll not watching your salary going up as you understand economics.

Pre-market is looking ugly. Should be an interesting day
